This is great - a really smiley picture. Even his hair looks happy! And I love the effect - it reminds of the illustrations they used to use in girls' annuals in the 70s.

A lot of them still had short stories - mostly about men and horses, if I recall!

thankyou so much, i was happy with the outcome of this piece and yes he looks bouncy and vibrant. I remember those illustrations very well.
