just happy to rewatch

yesterday whilst watching an episode of It'll Be Alright On The Night (which for anyone who hasn't seen it is a tv programme looking back at the out takes of other programmes) and i just had to search for the one of Martin from the episode BLIND RUN . We don't actually see Lewis but when he speeds away in the yellow van , well he accelerates too quickly and poor Martin just can't stop himself from falling through the open doors and then i just had to laugh at the way he slams his fist into the ground as though to say "Lewis you are deep trouble mate" .

I remember watching this scene originally and it's such an unforgettable moment and it was lovely to catch up with it again .

Stepping out of Lurkdom
That is a great moment. I read in one of the books that Martin came up with the idea doing the van leap, and had insisted to the director that he would not fall out as he sped away. The director refused, knowing Martin would fall out, but then finally relented. So imagine him being frustrated at himself for being wrong. LOL!

Re: Stepping out of Lurkdom
honestly it's the way he falls and then gives a shout out to lewis who then just speeds away leaving a frustrated Martin on the floor looking at the exhaust fumes coming from the back of the van .No doubt he was left frustrated with himself .

yes it is a classic moment and one i really enjoyed seeing again . The whole incident is just so funny and i don't know if Lewis apologised after but i'm sure Martin would have had something to say to him .

Oh yes! Poor Martin, that must have hurt! He'd have been a bit more nervous the next time around. *g*

i just had to search this out again and boy was it worth it . I wonder if he had words with Lewis once he finally caught up with him .

I don't think he would have fallen again after that .

A hilarious moment - especially as we see the boxes falling out first, followed by Martin (almost as if he was too part of the van 'cargo') and I felt sorry for him that it might have been hurt, on top of that bang on his shin when he jumped onto the boat in the same episode... The way he slammed his fist I thought was just in frustration for not managing the stunt, but he could be thinking of Lew and his speeding away too quickly as well, you're right...

i teally enjoyed catching up with this moment again . It's such fun to see how Martin is left frustrated and i'm sure he would have been having words with Lewis when he eventually caught up with him.
