I never noticed how yellow his shirt is. It's really a wonderful shot of Doyle. Thank you for this!

Wavy Doyle tended to be caught in less soppy expressions than curly Doyle, which is a shame.

But even if this isn't exactly soppy, it is still sort of melancholy and wistful - funny what still images capture.

I think this is definitely a winner as far as Doyle pics go :0)

i don't tend to study Doyle quite that much but if you find this to be melancholy and wistful then i will go along with that . Many thanks for looking and for your comment .

I think Doyle's looking quite at peace with the world, there.

Thank you! :D

I love this sort of quiet, melancholy picture of Doyle, as the other commenters have remarked. He looked more like this towards the end of the series. I don't complain... though I sort of miss the more fiery Doyle of earlier series... And wow, how yellow is that shirt?!? Thank you x

thankyou , i didn't really look on this image of Doyle as melancholy just Doyle being unusually quiet and i don't tend to study Doyle's behaviour, my eyes are elsewhere when i'm watching The Professionals . So glad you like his yellow t shirt .

Well, perhaps I meant more "mellow" than melancholy, really. A bit softer around the edges perhaps ;)
