'So dynamic in performance'
Wooh! 'Dynamic in performance' is right! My eyes travel straight to the spot where he's 'kissing' the bow!

What a Christmas card that would be! He looks like a cross between Cupid and an avenging angel!

Ooh, and look at the way that pinky finger heightens the impact.

This is new to me. Thank you for sharing! :D

I love the idea of him playing a very tough and ruthless cupid - no messing about! And he's pissed off because he has to go around sorting out mortals' love-lives, but the magic doesn't work for him so he hasn't been able to find Doyle again yet (perhaps they were accidentally split up by some war of the gods complete with thunderbolts, and he never got the chance to declare his love).

So he goes off to see Venus (Marge Harper, of course!), and naturally she knows how to find Doyle (Hermes, perhaps, with the winged sandals red kickers).

I'm not sure where Cowley is in all this. Maybe Hephaestus because of the limp.

So anyway, Bodie finds Doyle with Marge Harper's help, and it turns out he doesn't need any magic because Doyle loves him back already anyway (of course).

Humans in the world below are left wondering about the cause of the ensuing extreme weather, which oddly seems to combine blazing sunshine and periodic torrential downpours ... :-))))

Oh wow, your imaginings are even more exciting than the ancient Greek myths we have come to know... and I love how you included the legendary Marge. She really seems the kind of lady to have supernatural powers... :)

I think Marge Harper would make a fabulous Venus!

And doesn't she make a dangerously mind-altering drink she calls Green Lightening? Sounds like a good candidate for Venus mixing up a love philtre to me *g*

This is a great photo and I'm so pleased you resisted the temptation to put a christmas hat on his head! (I love the christmassy green background and your holly in the right hand corner.) And I think sw33n3y's description is perfect. Thank you!

ha ha , No i would never do that to Bodie , it just wouldn't look right , just the gentle touch of some holly is all that's needed ...yes i love her description , it fits him so well ..thankyou for looking and commenting x

What makes it interesting is that he obviously knows how to shoot a bow. So many people don't (self - ex archer).
