DOYLE and BODIE

"But in the final episode of this series , Martin was driving a motorboat and i was on the side, firing at the baddies. We were whizzing along when he turned a corner and i fell overboard. The trouble was that my foot caught under a seat. I hit the water at about 45 knots and was dragged along underwater.
Martin was looking the other way and the crew on the other boat was screaming at him . He thought they were waving and carried on. It was only about 30 seconds but i thought i was finished. When i got out i said to Martin , Listen mate, i know it's the last episode but i'd like to come out of it alive "

quoted from an interview with Lewis Collins .

Fantastic!

(I will be getting back to the others as soon as I have 5mins:0))

I knew about the incident - but I've never been exactly sure of the details.

There's an obvious over balance in the ep, I've always admired the core strength required to correct it.

I'm NEVER getting in a boat with MS!

Great pic. And yes, MS and LC did a lot of really physically challenging and potentially dangerous stuff. I can just imagine MS not realising right away that this had happened, and being all about getting the take right! LC must have been extremely strong and fit - you can see it in the ep.
Thank you for including the interview quotation!
